Onland Storeは現在、沖縄、奄美大島など島にちなんだ工芸品やお酒が並んでおります。

おおらかな絵付けと、ぽってりとした温かみが魅力の「やちむん」
気泡と沖縄の自然を想起させる独特な色合いが特徴の「琉球ガラス」

『島と涼む、Future Kogei』

「琉球ガラス」は、戦後に廃瓶を再利用して作られたのが始め、と言われています。
今では、沖縄の風土や歴史を感じさせる工芸品として親しまれています。

Onland Storeではこの度、GLASSSENの琉球ガラスをご紹介しています。
琉球ガラス職人、東新川拓也さまの作り出す作品は、琉球ガラスの歴史に沿って 再生ガラスにこだわり、作り手の息吹によって 自然の風合いのまま蘇らせたものです。

“Cooling off on the island, Future Kogei”

It is said that “Ryukyu glass” began to be made after the war by recycling old bottles.
Today, it is a popular craft that evokes the climate and history of Okinawa.

Onland Store is now introducing Ryukyu glass from GLASSSEN.
Ryukyu glass artisan Takuya Higashishinkawa creates works that are made using recycled glass in line with the history of Ryukyu glass, and the natural texture is brought back to life through the breath of the maker.

京扇子は平安時代。京都で生まれ、当初は貴族の間で使われ、その後、武士や町人にも広がり、江戸時代には専門の職人や問屋に発展しました。
長い歴史の中で、実用性だけでなく、美術品としても高く評価され、今も受け継がれています。

この度、Onland Storeでは、1894年創業の『みのや扇舗』さまの「扇子」をご紹介しています。
その中で、2017年に新ブランドとして設立された、/fan/fun （ファンファン）をお取り扱いさせて頂いております。

– Kyo-sensu –
Kyo-sensu originated in the Heian period. They were first used by aristocrats in Kyoto, then spread to samurai and townspeople, and in the Edo period they developed into specialized craftsmen and wholesalers.

Throughout their long history, they have been highly valued not only for their practicality but also as works of art, and are still passed down today.

名古屋市の伝統的な有松絞りの柄をモチーフにした手描き絵皿を中心に販売されています。

職人さん達による緻密な、そして地道な手作業で作り出す有松絞りに感動して、いつしか布地そのものには携われないけど、違ったアプローチで絞りの魅力を伝えられたらいいな。もっと面白いことが出来るんじゃないかなと考えるようになって生まれた有松絞り柄のうつわ。

有松・鳴海絞りの伝統柄からインスパイアされ、金継ぎ風にデザインされたプレートです。
金継ぎ風ラインは鏡面仕上げになっており、藍色とのコントラストがとても美しく仕上げられています。
どうぞ緻密な柄の仕上がりを、お手元でご覧ください。

The shop mainly sells hand-painted plates with motifs of traditional Arimatsu Shibori patterns from Nagoya City.

I was impressed by the Arimatsu Shibori, which is made by artisans with precision and diligence by hand, and before I knew it, I thought that even though I can’t work with the fabric itself, I would like to convey the charm of shibori in a different approach. I began to think that I could do something more interesting, and this Arimatsu Shibori pattern dish was born.

The plate was inspired by the traditional Arimatsu and Narumi Shibori patterns and designed in the style of gold lacquer.

この度、Onland Storeでは、『彩-Aya Irodori-』さまの作品をご紹介しています。

・風呂敷
有松・鳴海絞りが施された風呂敷は、見た目の美しさはもちろん、自由自在に形を変えられるところも魅力です。
絞りの風呂敷に包まれるだけで、なんだか上品な佇まいに。

The Arimatsu/Narumi tie-dyed furoshiki is not only beautiful to look at, but also attractive because it can be freely shaped.
Just wrapping it in tie-dyed furoshiki gives it a refined appearance.
When not in use, it can be rolled up and folded up into a super compact size. It’s also nice that you don’t have to worry about wrinkles.

・Eco bag
An eco bag made using tie-dyeing techniques.
The convenient size makes it convenient to use as a sub-bag. The storage capacity is also greater than you’d imagine. Another attractive feature is that you don’t have to worry about how to fold it when putting it away.
