江戸時代から受け継がれてきた北陸・石川県の伝統工芸と文化。
その確かな技と精神に、現代の感性や新たな息吹が重なり、
今の暮らしに寄り添うものづくりが生まれています。

加賀友禅、金沢箔、山中漆器、輪島塗といった
石川県のさまざまな伝統工芸品をご紹介いたします。

“Ishikawa Handicrafts”

The traditional crafts and culture of Ishikawa Prefecture in the Hokuriku region have flourished as part of the culture of the Kaga Domain, a region dominated by one million koku of rice. They have been passed down since the Edo period.

These reliable techniques and spirit are combined with modern sensibilities and new ideas to create products that fit into modern lifestyles.

We will be showcasing a variety of traditional crafts from Ishikawa Prefecture, including Kaga Yuzen, Kanazawa gold leaf, and Yamanaka lacquerware,Wajima lacquerware.

Edo woodblock prints, which developed during the Edo period, are renowned for their multicolored printing techniques. Works by famous artists such as Hokusai and Hiroshige continue to be cherished around the world. Please enjoy the timeless world of these pieces, created using techniques passed down since the Edo era.

At TOI BLDG. (Onland Store), you can witness the exquisite craftsmanship of Edo woodblock printing, featuring The Great Wave off Kanagawa as its centerpiece.

TOI BLDG. was born in Yokoyamacho, Nihonbashi, a wholesale district that has supported Japanese commerce since the Edo period, with the concept of asking new questions to consider the future of crafts. While the summer heat still lingers, subtle hints of autumn can be felt in the breeze and high in the sky.

Starting 9/17, the Onland Store will be showcasing traditional crafts from Mie Prefecture.

Mie is a land where a rich culture of handicrafts, woven together by nature and people, still lives on today. The crafts nurtured in each region are born from everyday life and embody the wisdom and beauty that has been passed down from generation to generation.

この度、Onland Storeは初めて「阿寒アイヌコンサルン」様のご協力をいただき、アイヌ文化をテーマにした企画を開催します。

アイヌの伝統的な衣装「チンジリ👘」をはじめ、木彫りの器「ニマ」、調理器具「メノコイタ」、木製のお盆「イタ」など、貴重な品々をお借りして展示しています。

アイヌの人々は自然🌲と深く結びつき、そこに畏敬の念を抱きながら暮らしてきました。
ストアでは、アイヌ文様をあしらった器や手ぬぐいなど、日常に取り入れやすいアイテムもご用意しています。

Future Kogei – Forest and Prayer: From the Hands of the Ainu

Onland Store is delighted to present a special exhibition exploring Ainu culture, made possible through the kind cooperation of Akan Ainu Konsarun. This is our first collaboration together.

On display are treasured items such as the traditional garment Chinjiri, wooden vessel Nima, cooking board Menokoita, and serving tray Ita. Each piece reflects the artistry and spirit passed down through generations.

The Ainu people have lived in deep connection with nature, guided by reverence and gratitude for the world around them. In our store, you will also find everyday items inspired by Ainu design—such as tableware and hand towels adorned with traditional patterns—that bring a touch of this culture into daily life.

『島と涼む、Future Kogei』

Onland Storeは現在、沖縄、奄美大島など島にちなんだ工芸品やお酒が並んでおります。

おおらかな絵付けと、ぽってりとした温かみが魅力の「やちむん」
気泡と沖縄の自然を想起させる独特な色合いが特徴の「琉球ガラス」
どちらも素朴で、ひとつひとつ違いがあるのも味わい深いところです。

暑い夏、遠い島に思いを馳せて。

“Yachimun” is attractive for its generous painting and plump warmth.

“Ryukyu Glass” is characterized by its unique colors that evoke the air bubbles and nature of Okinawa.

『島と涼む、Future Kogei』

「琉球ガラス」は、戦後に廃瓶を再利用して作られたのが始め、と言われています。
今では、沖縄の風土や歴史を感じさせる工芸品として親しまれています。

Onland Storeではこの度、GLASSSENの琉球ガラスをご紹介しています。
琉球ガラス職人、東新川拓也さまの作り出す作品は、琉球ガラスの歴史に沿って 再生ガラスにこだわり、作り手の息吹によって 自然の風合いのまま蘇らせたものです。

“Cooling off on the island, Future Kogei”

It is said that “Ryukyu glass” began to be made after the war by recycling old bottles.
Today, it is a popular craft that evokes the climate and history of Okinawa.

Onland Store is now introducing Ryukyu glass from GLASSSEN.
Ryukyu glass artisan Takuya Higashishinkawa creates works that are made using recycled glass in line with the history of Ryukyu glass, and the natural texture is brought back to life through the breath of the maker.
