「琉球ガラス」は、戦後に廃瓶を再利用して作られたのが始め、と言われています。
今では、沖縄の風土や歴史を感じさせる工芸品として親しまれています。

Onland Storeではこの度、GLASSSENの琉球ガラスをご紹介しています。
琉球ガラス職人、東新川拓也さまの作り出す作品は、琉球ガラスの歴史に沿って 再生ガラスにこだわり、作り手の息吹によって 自然の風合いのまま蘇らせたものです。

“Cooling off on the island, Future Kogei”

It is said that “Ryukyu glass” began to be made after the war by recycling old bottles.
Today, it is a popular craft that evokes the climate and history of Okinawa.

Onland Store is now introducing Ryukyu glass from GLASSSEN.
Ryukyu glass artisan Takuya Higashishinkawa creates works that are made using recycled glass in line with the history of Ryukyu glass, and the natural texture is brought back to life through the breath of the maker.
